On Tuesday the APOW team attended a film-making workshop at Oval in the office!
The session was 2;00 to 5:00 pm and the presentation was carried out in a professional manner. The equipment particularly reflected the good preparation done for the session. The workshop started as we went round and everyone introduced themself with the best film that they recently watched, and we came up with many different movies. Then the presenter explained the different type of shots you can film, wide shot and mid shot to close up and extreme close up. Then we were divided into groups of three and the task was to shoot 10 different scenes about a topic we were given, such as ‘Journey’, ‘Friendship’ and ‘Surprise’. Everyone did an incredible short movie and we came back together once more to set our mind through imovie and learn the tips of the editing, adding sound, rearranging the shots and adding transitions!
