bzzz. bzz. bzz.

From the constant buzzing of my newly acquired phone to walking home from Hounslow Station, I’ll  forever cherish the quiet sounds and fresh air of Hilfield Friary. Visiting Hilfield was an incredible opportunity to connect more with everyone and to understand what being a community is. I enjoyed meeting our host and getting to know the history of Hilfield. I especially really enjoyed meeting Keith; an Autistic man who impressed me with his knowledge of history and culture, and Hugo, a Franciscan brother,  who knows Swahili. That was a memorable moment because his Swahili was surprisingly good, even though we were miles away from Kenya, I was able to meet someone who spoke the same language as me which was a  taste of home!  I will be forever  grateful for being a part of this residential and thank you everyone for coming. Thank you for having us Suzi and Sam and for blessing us with this opportunity. Most importantly thank you APOW for making this trip possible.
